Two years recent experience providing customer support in a technology environment utilizing Windows operating systems required.
Experience with library operations and procedures utilizing an automated library system and helpdesk; and working with children preferred.
Other Requirements/License:
Valid California drivers' license; have transportation; and be insurable.
Must pass a pre-employment physical.

The examination may consist of a training and experience (supplemental responses) evaluation, written test or performance test and a structured oral interview.
To qualify to be placed on an eligibility list, a candidate must obtain a passing score on each test part of the examination process.
Final scores will be obtained by combining the relative weights of scores on each test part.
If Veteran's credit is claimed, proof of status (DD214) must be submitted to the Classified Personnel Office at the same time the application form is submitted or prior to testing.
The life of the eligibility list will be twelve (12) months.
The resulting eligibility list will be used to fill current and future permanent and substitute vacancies.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
